About Us
At the Amethyst Chiropractic Clinic we pride ourselves on our high standard of patient care. This starts from the moment you walk into the clinic and are greeted by our friendly and helpful reception staff, through to your appointment with your fully qualified, registered chiropractor, right up to your rehabilitation & exercise care.
The Amethyst Chiropractic Clinic was first established in 1993. We are very proud of the fact that most of our patients come to us following a recommendation from family, friends or their GP.
Our chiropractic clinic is modern, well equipped and provides a comfortable welcoming atmosphere. We provide a comprehensive range of chiropractic services and are able to request x-rays and prescribe rehabilitation exercise programmes and prescription orthotics.
Also at this clinic we understand the importance not only of our physical health but also our mental health and are trained in cognitive behaviourial therapy and hypnotherapy. ( How our thoughts and underlying beliefs affect our emotions, behaviour and actions. This can have an effect on our physical lives. )
Our clinic is open 5 days a week, Monday to Friday and there are two chiropractors in the clinic, so there is always somebody to look after you. We also have an emergency chiropractic service outside our normal working hours.
Most major medical health insurance companies, including BUPA, AXA PPP, WPA and Standard Life cover fees for chiropractic care.
All of our chiropractors are registered with the General Chiropractic Council and are members of the British Chiropractic Association. They have all completed a minimum of five years professional training, together with additional training in many post graduate courses every year as part of their continued professional development. Chiropractors are also trained in general medical diagnosis, to rule out underlying medical problems, which mean that you do not have to visit your GP prior to booking a visit.
